Tracking in real time vs. Manual time entries
Your working time can be recorded in real time, starting in the morning, stopping in the evening or else you can add your working time manually. We recommend that you record your working time in real time so that you are finished with time recording at the end of the day, and don’t have to bother with any laborious subsequent recording.
As an Administrator you can also enter working time records for your employees manually.
Working time tracking in real time
Go to the “Recording” menu (Marker 1), and select the “Working Time” tab (Marker 2). Now select the working time type (Marker 3), you can add additional working time types in administration. timr always displays the current start date and time (Marker 5), press "Start" (Marker 6). If you want, you can add a short note (Marker 4) to your working time record (we recommend doing this after pressing “Start”).
You can enter the time format and duration in almost any form, you will find all the related details in the article about adding time and duration.
Switch Workting Time Type
You can use the Switch Feature if you have to switch between different types of working time. For example, if you start working in the office at 8 o’clock in the morning and later start a business trip at 10 AM just use Switch to choose the new working time type and automatically stop and start the Timer.
The change will be carried out at the time you pressed "Switch".
Resuming Working Time
If you stop recording your working time, and then realize that you have forgotten something and want to start again right away, you can do this using the "Resume Working Time" function.
