At the moment there is no specific feature for the process of vacation approval in timr. However, even now you can easily portray vacation approval in a few easy steps.
If an employee wants to go on vacation he can record the planned vacation in timr.
The recorded vacation initially has the status “Changeable” (no symbol). This shows that this vacation wasn’t approved yet.
When the vacation is approved the administrator simply sets the status to “Locked” (lock symbol). Employee and employer now know that the vacation is approved and the employee can’t change vacation time without approval of the employer.
Tip: If you already use the timr status "Locked" elsewhere in your company, you can also use the status “Closed”.
Tip: You can handle the recording of sick leave or compensatory leave in the same way.
